What is search submission? Simply put search submission is the process of notifying a search engine of your domain name or the specific web page your submitting. Some Search engines are crawlers, that is they will crawl your pages looking for links to other pages, then building an index or archive of your content. Other search engines are directories often require that you choose a category to place your domain based on relevance of the material your presenting with your domain. Its important to recognize that search engines share information and push indexing information to other search providers.  A word of advice, before submitting your domain to the search engines, take time to implement a proper keyword strategy and format your web pages properly to gain the best results from your submission. |
